Nægt mig de andres lykke,

ta fra mig rist og ro!

Jeg skal forsage meget,

men gi mig kraft og tro!

Driving Miss Daisy…

Miss Daisy: I like to go under the speed limit… The slower you go, the more you save on gas. Hoke: I can’t hardly move, may as well walk, you paperwate.

I’m nervous…

Free Aung San Suu Kyi

I call on the UN and ASEAN to take immediate action to secure the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, after she was detained in custody in Burma’s notorious Insein Jail.

Messages of concern from ASEAN and the UN have, in the past, been routinely ignored and defied by the Burmese regime. Words are not enough. The reputation of the UN and ASEAN is now at stake, I urge you to take firm action by sending an envoy immediately to deliver a strong message to the Burmese regime calling for the immediate release of Aung San Suu Kyi and all Burma’s political prisoners.

Aung San Suu Kyi is being tried for breaking the terms of her house arrest after an American man swam across Inya Lake to her house. However, Aung San Suu Kyi has committed no crime, she is the victim of crime.  There was an intruder in her house who refused to leave, but she is the one being imprisoned.

Aung San Suu Kyi has spent a total of more than 13 years in detention. The United Nations has ruled that Aung San Suu Kyi’s detention is illegal under international law, and also under Burmese law. The United Nations Security Council has also told the dictatorship that they must release Aung San Suu Kyi.

I urge you to act now, otherwise Aung San Suu Kyi could face the rest of her life in jail.

My heart has found peace…

Don’t go around and wait

for something good.

Give a smile to the world

and expect a thousand in return.

Grey walls around me,

decorated with posters and paintings.

They reasure me it all,

will be okay.

I have been taught life is fragile,

it can stop no matter when.

So live your life as you would

die the next day.

Don’t be afraid,

I put the pieces back together,

i’m not hurting anymore.

Now all I want to do is smile.

Good times are coming,

they are just around the corner.

A restless mind with playing thoughts,

brings peace to my heart.

Requiem for a broken heart

A broken heart is hard to mend

The feeling’s lost, and not regained

It feels like shattered glass inside

I have no more tears left to cry.

Love is a tale, telling stories

of hate, reminiscence and joy

Tears is the heart’s way of showing

gratitude, grief and happiness.

The one I love does not love me

All I want is my life to end

I cannot take this anymore

The smiles on my face is gone.

A broken heart is slowly mending

The feeling’s found and yet regained

There’s no more shattered glass inside

I found more tears to cry.
